    Job Title: Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) Field Service Representative (FSR)

    Company: SAIC

    SAIC is in search of a skilled and devoted Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) Field Service Representative (FSR) to become part of the team located in Huntsville, AL.

    This position includes tasks such as delivering instructional sessions, offering technical support, and managing help desk services. The FSR will be responsible for providing operational and field support, including deploying system/software to various locations, both locally and remotely. These locations cover all theaters of operations, CONUS and OCONUS, to Aviation units. The ideal candidate will perform tests on the latest AMPS software, provide feedback to the software development team, and develop training materials using tools like PowerPoint, Adobe, and OneNote.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver formal and informal instruction.
    • Provide FSR support upon customer requests.
    • Offer Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support, resolving basic customer issues and escalating complex ones when needed.
    • Apply mission planning concepts and aircraft performance factors.
    • Understand airspace, airports, airways, and navigation aids.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows operating systems.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of networking hardware/software over government networks, both classified and unclassified.
    • Comprehend mission planning system functions and external interfaces, including setup and teardown procedures.
    • Work independently, anticipate customer needs by identifying and analyzing crucial factors and conditions.
    • Make decisions based on analyses of subjects and issues related to assignments.
    • Collaborate with customers or internal functional organization to improve learning objectives and course content.
    • Create training materials, visual aids, and documentation to back field training, computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT).

    Qualifications:

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience; Additional six years of experience may substitute the degree (as per contract terms).

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Must have the ability to acquire and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is a mandatory requirement.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • At least 4 years of experience working with the U.S. Army's Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS).
    • Proficient in using standard office equipment and machines, such as personal computers, scanners, copy machines, telephones, printers, and fax machines.
    • Provide pre-deployment training and technical support for AMPS at remote locations involved in various theaters of operations, CONUS and OCONUS.
