    Job Description:

    HEAVY FORKLIFT USE, including extensions and clamp truck for 1 ton paper rolls. Forklift experience is non-negotiable.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Direct, Lead, and Assist 2 to 3-person team in all of the following objectives:
    • Assist in performing activities of employees engaged in loading/unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving and transporting of merchandise.
    • Facilitate incoming and outgoing shipment activity; ensure efficient, accurate and timely customer service to ensure service goals are attained.
    • Manage proper recording of inventory in computer systems and paper files.
    • Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers' instructions.
    • Ensure all priority orders, customer routing specifications and special requests are handled properly.
    • Must be trained in all phases of warehouse operations
    • Daily housekeeping of warehouse
    • Pick and pack cartons for customer orders
    • Receive and stock pallets in recorded locations
    • Process receiving documents; prepare Bill of Lading and Packing slips for outgoing shipments.
    • Schedule trucks, couriers, and drivers
    • Loading and unloading of LTL and small package carrier trucks
    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
    • Intermediate Computer skills required - this is 50% office/desk duty
    • 3 - 4 years of experience with Shipping Clerk Office Duties
    • 2-3 years shipping lead/management
    • Internal/external customer service focused
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations & procedures
    • Leadership and Organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask & perform all physical requirements
    Job Type: Full-time
    Salary: $55,000.00 per year
