- Performing preventative maintenance on various tractors, including Peterbilt, Mack, and International models, by conducting oil changes, filter services, APU services, DOT inspections, power steering maintenance, and other preventative measures.
- Handling corrective maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, such as replacing body panels, diagnosing and replacing electrical components, addressing power steering issues, troubleshooting driver monitoring equipment problems, and more.
- Utilizing diagnostic software to identify fleet equipment issues.
- Effectively using maintenance software to track service schedules, repair history, and generate repair orders.
- Proficiency in time management to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with shifting deadlines.
- Extensive experience with both manual and power tools.
- Comfort with using computer software for diagnostic and documentation purposes.
- Ability to collaborate within a large team and coordinate with various roles effectively.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 1 year of experience working on heavy equipment.
- Complete set of necessary tools.
- At least 1 year of experience in the transportation industry.
- Salary: Compensation ranging from $21.47 to $32.05 per hour, dependent on experience (inclusive of shift differentials).
- Schedule: Full-time position on-site, working from Thursday to Sunday (Thursday - Friday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday - Sunday: 07:00 am - 5:00 pm), with eligibility for overtime.

A DAY IN THE LIFE!Join us in building your career as a diesel technician! You will be responsible for both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. Your role involves overseeing the entire process of inspecting trucks, performing services, making repairs, and conducting final inspections to ensure that our drivers have reliable vehicles.
