Responsibilities

As a Video Redaction Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the privacy and security of sensitive information recorded and used in law enforcement, emergency services, and other public safety contexts. You will utilize specialized software and techniques to obscure or remove identifiable information such as faces, driver's licenses, license plates, and other personally identifiable information (such as audio) from evidentiary data while maintaining the integrity and evidentiary value of the footage. By applying your expertise in redaction techniques, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the proper handling of sensitive information within the criminal justice system.

Qualifications

As a Video Redaction Specialist, you will work in LensLock's CJIS-compliant redaction room, located in Tampa, FL Requirements include obtaining FBI CJIS Level 4 certification, which includes passing an FBI background check that LensLock will sponsor. An eye for detail and strong analytical skills are crucial for identifying and properly handling sensitive data within evidentiary footage. Additionally, a commitment to confidentiality and adherence to strict security protocols are also necessary to ensure the privacy and security of sensitive information.

Pay

The full-time position is hourly, offering a competitive wage ranging from $13 to $17 per hour, depending on experience.
