    Job Summary/Description:

    The Angelo State University Agriculture Department is seeking candidates for a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty to provide students a relevant and engaging academic experience.

    Typical Duties/Job Duties:
    1. Teach 18 hours of course instruction per academic year (2 or 3 courses per long semester).
    2. Perform duties as a Research & Outreach Associate in collaboration with other departmental faculty and staff.
    3. Serve as primary recruiting coordinator in the Agriculture Department.
    4. Serve as an Academic Advisor for undergraduate students in the Agriculture Department.
    5. Serve as the faculty advisor of the Block & Bridle Student Organization.
    6. Serve as the faculty advisor of the Recruiting Ag Majors (RAMS) program & student organization.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Skills required to fulfill duty as a dynamic and engaging instructor as well as a proficient recruiting coordinator.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Completed Master's Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Ag Business, Food Science, Natural Resource Management, or other closely related field.
