This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO.

As an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will provide leadership and expert technical advice on developing and implementing policies, programs, and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of information systems throughout the organization.

Duties

As a/an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will:

• Provide technical expertise to the design, development, and implementation of information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessment programs to identify areas of potential vulnerability in operating systems used throughout the organization.
• Analyze findings and develop long-range plans for security systems that minimize risks, mitigate vulnerabilities, prevent security incidents, and insure systems reliability.
• Consult with other IT Specialists to make recommendations on strategies and policies that govern implementation of security and reliability procedures throughout the organization.
• Plan for and conduct systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews. Gather and analyze findings; organize documentation, consults with systems users, and develops recommendations used to identify and define systems security requirements.
• Provides technical advice and leadership on security aspects of network and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security applications and policies.
