POSITION
The
Network Administrator
will be responsible for overseeing the computer systems and database networks, ensuring their functionality.
The Network Administrator- Senior will work with customers, supervisors, and managers to ensure requirements are being met as scheduled.
*This position is contingent upon successful contract award.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Support the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs).
Design and Manage the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN.
Provide Production Support of the Network, including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution client Networks.
Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process.
Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Maintain Storage Area Network, Network Attached Storage (e.g., home directories, workgroup shares).
Lead team members and train as needed.
Travel required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
IAT-II in one of the following (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security +, CND, or SSCP).
ITIL Foundations within 6 months.
Secret Clearance
A working knowledge is necessary in various software systems and architectures, communications protocols: and network hardware devices.
Able to work Overtime as required.
Must be available to travel as required.
Additional administrative duties as assigned.
Associate Level -
High School Diploma
Requires 1-3 years of related experience.
Senior Level -
Bachelor's degree in an IT Related Field or may have additional training and certification in lieu of Bachelor degree.
Requires 7 + years of related experience.
PREFERRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience with Network upgrades and installations.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Familiar with operational networking strategies and techniques employed in medical facilities.

VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2019 (VCP-NV 2019)
Network+
ONF Certified SDN Associate (OCSA)
Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)

Juniper Networks Certified Enterprise Routing and Switching Expert (JNCIE)
CompTIA Server+
Certified Storage:
Professional (SCSP) or SNIA Certified Storage Engineer (SCSE) or
SNIA Certified Storage Architect (SCSA)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting for long periods of time.
Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
