Responsibilities:

Lead and manage data-focused projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones.

Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

Monitor and report on project status, including progress, budget, and resource utilization.

Ensure compliance with project management best practices and methodologies.

Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for optimization and efficiency gains.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on data-related projects.

Strong understanding of data management concepts and methodologies.

Experience with NoSQL databases and ELT/ETL data flows, including metadata management.

Proficiency in Kafka and Hadoop is essential.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.

Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant certifications preferred.

Experience working with government clients and security clearances is a plus.

$120,000 - $145,000 a year
