    JOB SUMMARY:

    Rakuten is hiring an experienced, innovative, and driven Contract Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our International Talent Acquisition team.

    As an ideal candidate you will use your interpersonal savvy to develop collaborative relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You will partner closely with stakeholders across the business and you'll play an integral role in identifying and engaging top talent in creative ways, building our employer brand, and generating pipelines of qualified candidates.

    You will have extensive experience recruiting for a variety of functions, industries and geographies in a fast-paced environment. , As an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play an essential role in building a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment through our structured interview processes and practices

    As a key member of the International Talent Acquisition team, you will see your contributions directly impact Rakuten's growth and culture.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide a seamless, high-touch and positive experience for every candidate from application to offer, acting as candidate advocate, evaluating skill level, and driving the interview and offer process
    • Collaborate as a true partner and advisor with hiring managers and interviewers; throughout the entire recruitment process
    • Passively source qualified candidates, review resumes and prescreen candidates while moving the interview process forward in a timely manner
    • Drive ongoing measurement of recruiting performance through metrics and reporting to ensure hiring goals are met and to develop efficient hiring solutions
    • Maintain robust and consistent updates in our Applicant Tracking System(Workday Recruiter)
    • Focus on continual improvements to the recruiting process
    • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and hiring teams by providing relevant and real-time market intel and recommendations to successfully source and identify candidates that will excel at Rakuten

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of full-lifecycle recruiting
    • Experience managing recruitment for all levels (entry-level to senior leadership), including tech and non-tech
    • Highly skilled sourcer that is familiar with a wide variety of sourcing tools and techniques
    • Extensive working knowledge and experience with Workday Recruiter, LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms
    • Ability to qualify, present, and share candidates by understanding what each candidate brings to the table, and then identify that candidate with the right opportunity at Rakuten
    • Ability to manage a high volume of complex reqs (15+) across various functions and geographies
    • An analytical mindset that understands the importance of tracking metrics, both individual and team goals to increase performance
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment
    • Comfortable working in a highly cross-functional team environment requiring a collaborative work style and the ability to build strong relationships across teams
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to understand sense of urgency and continuously working towards elevating the candidate and hiring manager experience
    • A motivated, positive, proactive, and transparent attitude

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • 7+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience; minimum of 5 years of enterprise recruiting experience required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the hourly rate for this role will be between $50-70/hr. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location.
