    Job DescriptionPARTS COUNTER SALESMonday – Friday7:00 am – 4:00 pm$ $18.00 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    • Greet and assist retail customers with parts sales and delivery in a friendly and courteous manner.
    • Obtain the correct parts and accessories for both the technician and the retail customer in a timely manner.
    • Accurately price parts and accessories and make corresponding entries on customer documentation and the computer system.
    • Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.
    • Pull parts from stock and if not in stock, determine availability and relay to the customer. · Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
    • Maintain the parts department in clean and orderly manner.
    • Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities. Coordinate merchandising displays to promote product sales.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the parts sales process.
    • With appropriate approvals, issue credit for returned parts confirming original invoice pricing.
    • Adhere to dealership cash handling policies and procedures established by the dealership. Compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
    • Monitor the controls in place to safeguard dealership assets and customer data; report any deviations to the supervisor.
    • Maintain professional personal appearance.
    • Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
    • Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions.
    • Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
    • Answering phones and helping walk in customers.
    • Answering calls from our team of service writers to get them a proper estimate.
    • Fill and respond to orders from regular customers emails.
    • Pulling parts and delivering them out to the technician bays in our shop
    • Working with technicians to ensure they are getting quoted the correct parts for the repair.
    • Keeping fast moving parts stocked on the back parts counter.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Be able to easily identify all automotive components
    • Be able to lift 50 pounds several times throughout the day
    • Must have 1 year parts experience.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook Email
