    Job Description

    Coordinate and support the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the financial performance for Property Services. This will be achieved through preparation and analysis of financial and budget data and working in conjunction with the Property Services team and its leaders.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or direct and applicable work experience.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting/finance field and in a role analyzing and interpreting data.
    • Ability to read, interpret financial data, produce accurate reports, and manage the payment process for property services operational contracts.
    • Strong mathematical, analytical, time management and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to perform, document and guide others through a series of related steps.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships of collaboration and trust; experience working with and actively protecting confidential information and data.
    • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet timelines and accuracy guidelines.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, expressing complex concepts clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to work independently and cooperatively on teams, supporting special projects, and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
    • Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel.

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
    • Prior experience delivering consultative support within a complex organization.
    • Understanding of property management operations.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
    • Public accounting or audit experience.
    Additional Information

    a. Partner with leadership and designated staff in assigned business areas to understand business needs, establish and monitor budgets, and facilitate changes in budget on an ongoing basis. Act as a liaison between the Property Services department and Corporate Accounting and Finance teams. Work with Finance to provide year-end Property Services supporting reports.

    b. Support all Property Services departments which include Building, Facilities, Physical Security, Business Continuity and Aviation.

    c. Work with department leadership to maintain customized monthly budget variance analysis reports for the business areas and for special projects. Communicate financial results and variances to business areas in a variety of formats (i.e. tables, graphs, charts, and narrative). Provide analysis that is predictive, actionable, and impacts the team's ability to make solid operational decisions.

    d. Coordinate the contracting process for the Property Services department. Work with Procurement as the liaison to coordinate contract needs for new vendors, vendor renewals, purchase orders, and special project contracts. Ensure timely completion, accurate documentation, and proper archival of all department contracts.

    e. Utilizing the contract data and information, process all invoices for completed work ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Check all invoices for contract terms on hourly rates, material upcharges, travel time, assign proper coding, etc. Work with department contacts and vendor accounting departments to solve discrepancies.

    f. Perform asset processing and tracking utilizing the Centerstone and Workday software tools. Assign asset tags for all appropriate assets for both capitalized and non-capitalized assets. Work with Finance to ensure trackable assets are processed correctly in Workday. Retire assets that are disposed or traded. Coordinate donation of assets as directed.

    g. Manage the day-to-day Centerstone software application. Administration will include security and access approval, function as first-line contact to resolve processing issues for internal staff users, maintaining data integrity, working with IT on certificate updates and proper testing, etc. Centerstone management will also include the import and export functions for internal software data sharing and asset management.

    h. Department liaison for Business Continuity reporting. Perform the role of coordinator and maintainer for Property Services department.

    i. Perform in-depth analysis, report findings, and offer recommendations upon request.
