Overview

SummaryThe Senior Solutions Architect is a highly motivated, skilled resource who embraces an entrepreneur approach with a strong work ethic.

This position primarily focuses on consulting with ConvergeOne's Customers to develop solid strategies with Outcome Based solutions that deliver measurable results thru ROI and TCO models.

The position is responsible for assessing customer needs and tailoring customized architectures that have strategic value and are complex in nature to fit business needs.

The Senior Solutions Architect is well versed in all market offerings in their area of expertise and works closely with the account team to ensure full accuracy of the architecture and the value proposition.

Additionally, this position is able to explain, position and justify costs related to ConvergeOne's solutions. #LI-JM1

Responsibilities

Essential FunctionsServes as the subject matter expert in a key area such as:Security, Data Center, Enterprise Networking, Cloud, Managed Services, Professional Services, MaintenanceExtremeJuniperCiscoWorks with Business and IT Leaders to identify customer needs, issues and interests to formulate a strategy that will achieve business objectivesProvides solution consulting, technical architecture and sales support for account opportunitiesProvides live demonstrations for customers and sales teamsDevelops and maintains technical competency and related certifications for all core products and solutions areasPerforms Strategic Road-mapping Sessions with customersParticipates in User Groups and Conferences as requiredMay publish content to the Public sphere as it pertains to area of expertise (Social Media, Linked In, White Papers, etc.)

Keeps current on industry changes, participates when possible in organizations directly involved with SME products and services, and continually works to improve techniques and sales knowledgeProvides timely and accurate deliverables to customers including statements of work and product architecturesParticipates in Solution Deliverables at the direction of the Solution ArchitectThese could include:
Participating in Discovery and Documentation of Business Requirements specific to area of expertise which may include ROI and TCO modelsAssuming responsibility for 3rd Party Quotes and SOW language for area of expertiseProviding relevant Statement of Work Language to Solution Architect resources and Guidance around content flowParticipating in Solution/Delivery Assurance and Services Handoff MeetingsEnsures productive relationships with manufacturer technical peersAssumes responsibility of being dedicated to Top Accounts or Top Account Managers as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (Specific to domain expertise)5+ years in Networking, Security and Data Center StrategiesBroad and general knowledge of InfrastructureSubject matter expertise related to SIP and Cloud based Services and architecturesMust have a good working knowledge of the networking industry and related protocols, including SIP, H.323, WebRTC, firewall traversals and VoIPKnowledge of ancillary technologies that help govern IP-based collaboration: firewalls, routers, MPLS networks, media relays, reverse proxies, etc.

Required QualificationsProficient at all Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePointExcellent presentation skillsExceptional customer facing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent relationship and collaboration skillsCertifications or equivalent experience in area of focusAbility to work independently with minimal direction resulting in an accurate solution architecture for the clientAble to manage multiple simultaneous work assignmentsAbility to communicate with all levels, including executive levels, in customers and partners, and bridge the gap between business users and information technologyAccustomed to working in virtual office environment
