    Essential Duties and Responsibilities assigned include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

    Oversees and "Supplier" and Sartori on-site assessments, analyzing compliance with company and industry standardsChampions problem solving and root cause analysis activities with supplier to eliminate recurrence of non-conformancesCommunicates company expectations to "Suppliers" and Sartori operated facilities and ensures compliance to Sartori standardsCreates successful relationships and identify issues and work towards a solution.

    Creates and maintains documentation and reports related to Suppler Quality. Create quality standards for new ingredients, materials, assess non-conformance rates.

    Reports quality performance of the supply base and identifies any needs for improvementProvides support to the Item Set-Up process by approving new ingredients and supplier facilities during onboarding.

    Organizes annual supplier appraisals, reviewing requests for completenessDocuments and maintains detailed specifications of supplied ingredients and co-manufactured finished goodsDevelops specifications for purchased cheeses as needed to support contracts and procurement activitiesApproves new ingredients and packaging materials to support item set-up activitiesManages and maintains Approved Supplier and Ingredient databasesOwns Sartori Annual Assessment programOwns SQF program management at a corporate quality levelQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Nutrition, or related field, required. 7+ years of related experience, required.
    Experience implementing and applying quality tools (CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA) and auditing experience.
