• Columbia site's Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager (SHE) team based inGaston, SC.

The ideal candidate for the Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager (SHE) Manageruses their strong leadership and communication skills to support their site's (and overall company's) goal of being in the top 10% in Total Recordable Rate (TRR) in our industry and having zero environmental exceptions.

The main responsibilities of the SHE Manager is to plan, direct and implement site safety, environmental, health, fire and security programs to ensure a safe, healthy, compliant and accident-free work environment and to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA, EPA and other rules and regulations on a nominal 500-person chemical manufacturing site.

This position will be a member of the site leadership staff and requires the person to maintain visibility by frequently being in the manufacturing areas interfacing with employees of all levels.

This person must be able to work with all levels of the organization to ensure proper safety and environmental management and awareness at the site.
