    with either technical or project management experience, or both, would step into a technical lead role or a project manager, or even a customer manager role and successfully work on a team to complete projects.

    This individual will see projects progress from design and engineering recommendations to implementation and start up.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Engineering Analysis and Design

    designs products and systems to interface with machines, hardware, and software by developing or interpreting customer specifications

    .

    Proficient in several software and hardware applications, industries, processes or a combination of all of these.

    (Extensive familiarity required) Conceptualizes automation solutions and develops concepts to the point of proposing a workable automation solution.
    Software Configuration and Controls Design -

    performs complex analysis and software configuration and/or handles complex projects applying configuration and design principles.

    Coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications, and develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new industrial uses.

    Advanced Documentation

    - researches and analyzes data like customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals, and produces applicable proposals and/or studies. Produces usable analytical documentation without oversight, following approved methods including IQ/OQ documentation, specifications/ loop diagrams, engineered studies, and manuals.
    Testing, Troubleshooting, Verification -

    independently performs and/or directs testing and troubleshooting tasks, using diagnostic tools, and makes recommendations based on findings. Collects data, analyzes the situation and applies generally accepted engineering principles toward a solution.

    Conduct and direct factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests as needed.
    Project Coordination/ Management

    - leader in the HEI company team, displaying interest in others' success by sharing knowledge, following expectations, directing work, helping others succeed, and completing tasks thoroughly. As a senior member of the project teams, the SE is often the technical lead and consistently coordinates and/or manages all or part of multiple projects.
    Sales and Business Advancement


    acts as a customer manager and can initiate and identify areas where HEI can provide control systems or portions of systems to move the customer forward.

    Selects part numbers and evaluates pricing for projects, and then produces proposals for final evaluation and review. Works with sales teams to produce complex proposals and studies to advance business with specified customers. Coordinates and facilitates proposal opportunities and multiple projects simultaneously.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Agricultural, Chemical, Controls/Computer Engineering) and at least 7 year's experience, three in a leadership role.

    The Senior Engineer should hold a P.E., a PMI certification, and/or multiple certificates for software use or hold a Master's Degree in Engineering or an MBA.

    Demonstrated skills in engineering, customer management, communication, documentation, and teamwork.
