    Description

    As Room Attendant at the Embassy Suites Chicago Naperville, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest suites according to the standards established by the hotel. This position is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to the department and company standards and serve as an ambassador for the hotel.

    The ideal candidate will have related hotel housekeeping experience, a positive can-do attitude, passion for service and creativity with superior written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    • 1+ years Hotel Housekeeping Experience
    • Strong knowledge of service standards, and service expectations (Work Orders, Guest Requests, Guest Complaint Procedures, etc.)
    Essential Responsibilities:
    • Cleans assigned suites daily according to company standards, including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors; dusting, brushing, polishing and vacuuming furniture; dusting and cleaning room decorations, appliances and structural surfaces; cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathrooms items; making beds, removes used and replaces guest room amenities as necessary, etc.
    • Provides information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other available amenities in a courteous, accurate manner
    • Reports all room maintenance items to supervisor
    • Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction
    • Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquires to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction
    • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
    • Perform any other job related duties as assigned
