    Description

    The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) connects the world's leading public and private organizations to accelerate biomedical breakthroughs for patients.

    This person will work closely with a variety of FNIH and NIH program staff to articulate the case for the solicitation of unrestricted and restricted support, as well as stewardship of all FNIH donors.

    This position reports to the Director of Gift Planning.

    Manage and steward an existing portfolio of donor funds managed by the FNIH, developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding of each fund's priorities and building effective working relationships with partner representatives.

    In partnership with department leadership, contribute to the development and execution of strategies to grow donor pipeline and foster a culture of philanthropy at the FNIH.

    Work closely with the Finance and Legal departments to ensure fund requirements are met.
    Participate in, and assist with planning of, the annual FNIH Awards Ceremony
    Work with appropriate FNIH staff to collect information and prepare proposals for solicitations.

    Bachelor's Degree
    Demonstrate leadership qualities and be an effective team player.
