    Agape Behavioral Center, is currently seeking a

    Medical Director

    for our latest residential facility in Fort Pierce, FL

    The

    Medical Director


    provides the medical direction needed to meet high standards of care, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site.

    The Medical Director collaborates with the Director of Nursing and Chief Clinical Officer to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided, and participates in various executive meetings as requested.


    Specific Areas of Responsibility:
    Providing administrative oversight of the facility's medical services.
    Review assessments from referring facilities and note problems/issues that require further attention
    In conjunction with the administrator and the governing authority of the substance abuse treatment program, planning and budgeting for medical services;
    Ensuring that medical services are coordinated and integrated with other client care services to ensure continuity of care for each client;
    Ensuring that the program complies with required medical staffing patterns noted in this chapter;
    Assisting in the development of written job descriptions for the medical staff, reviewing of credentials, participating in hiring of medical staff, delineating privileges of medical staff, and assigning duties of the medical
    Gather comprehensive diagnostic information through psychosocial assessment interview then develop an
    Integrated Summary, bringing together information from all assessments to identify problem areas that may affect
    treatment and/or need to be addressed in treatment planning
    Maintain clinical records according to program policies and those of licensing and accrediting agencies, document
    the patient's progress accurately as it relates to treatment goals and objectives, ensure that documentation is timely,
    consistent, clear, and articulate and keep clinical records always secure.


    Requirements:
    Active licensed within the State of Florida to provide medical services - Specificly Psychiatric Care
    Active DEA License
    Experience within the mental health field for a minimum of 5 years.

    Ability to go in person to facility at least once or twice per week
