    Job Description:

    This role reports to the Director, Talent Engagement, and resides within the Talent Acquisition team.

    Talent Intelligence is core to a successfully proactive Talent strategy. The Talent Research & Intelligence Manager will be able to consult with the business (Executive Leadership Team, HR Business Partners, and key product area leaders) to define, extract and present applicable data analytics. They must be able to interpret the data to tell a story that will help Zscaler make informed decisions around initiatives such as talent targeting and location expansion strategies.

    The Talent Research & Intelligence Manager must be adept at navigating data systems to curate insights. They should be naturally curious with the ability to leverage market research and trends to address both immediate and long-term initiatives. They will define a vision and articulate rationale for harnessing data such as market trends, geo-talent clusters, competitive intelligence, talent flow reporting, etc. into a meaningful, accessible warehouse of information. This position requires adaptability and ability to pivot quickly based on business needs.

    This position can be based hybrid out of our headquarters in San Jose, CA, or one of our other locations including Bellevue, WA, Austin TX, New York, NY, or Costa Rica.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage requests and generate talent intelligence reports and presentations that will provide insights into Talent Acquisition pipelines
    • Provide quantitative and qualitative analyses to map talent worldwide for the business
    • Partner with leadership to understand business needs and synthesize the narrative into talent strategies using data and insights
    • Conduct business research that will inform areas of opportunity for talent acquisition with consideration to global business growth and trends
    • Partner closely with the recruiting teams to guide talent strategies and support OKRs
    • Program manage the talent intelligence function and value proposition
    • Create ad hoc talent reports on request

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of professional experience in the talent intelligence space with proven ability to think strategically about broad business challenges

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experienced in consultative approaches to understanding and articulating customer needs, gathering data, and presenting data in a meaningful way for a senior leadership/executive audience
    • Ability to influence senior leadership decisions with data with the ability to create dashboards or tools to support strategies
    • Strong understanding of the talent market and ability make cross-industry connections when interpreting data
    • Working knowledge of talent insights tools and databases that help inform talent strategies
    • Previous experience with tech talent mapping; knowledge of the networking / security / cloud provider space is a plus
    • Ability to communicate project progress, delays or challenges in a productive and resolution oriented manner
