- Perform component or finished goods inspections using standard mechanical or electronic equipment.
- Implement controls to prevent defects and ensure product quality.
- Analyze quality metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for ongoing enhancement.
- Create inspection instructions, document procedures, and maintain accurate records of inspections and testing.
- Identify and segregate nonconforming materials from accepted ones.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Operations to address quality issues promptly.
- Conduct various inspections on-site and at vendor locations.
- Process materials returned from customers and vendors.
- Create Rejection Notices when necessary and perform salvage operations as required.
- Maintain document files and testing records accurately.
- Conduct testing as per regulatory requirements.
- Communicate project status effectively and maintain a professional image with stakeholders.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and perform assigned duties.
- AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of QC experience in manufacturing, preferably in electronic systems.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to follow procedures.
- Superior manual dexterity and eyesight, along with physical capabilities for the role.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of LED, fluorescent lighting, and commercial electrical wiring.
- Experience in process improvement within a manufacturing setting.
