Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation.

Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources.

Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.

What will you do?

Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team.

This position is located at our facility in Fairfax, Virginia, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Melbourne, Florida and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities.

Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:

The selected candidate will support the design, development, modification, and evaluation of signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems and related software systems in a cloud environment.

The candidate will be instrumental in the engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing of products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance.

Duties will include efforts related to cloud DevOps configuration, automation, and deployment.

Basic Requirements

US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance, due to contract requirement
BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience with ESXi 6+ and RHEL 6+.
3+ years' experience with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jenkins.
1+ years' experience VirtualBox, VMware Player, Vagrant, HashiCorp Packer, Ansible

Preferred Qualifications

TS/SCI Clearance
Strong code maintenance, debugging, and problemsolving skills
Ability to adapt to a fastpaced work environment with changing requirements.
Experience with Fapolicyd, Red Hat STIG Ansible role and its applications
Experience developing and integrating custom Ansible roles and collections
Understanding of the workflows and tools available to build custom Vagrant boxes
Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps practices is a plus
Familiarity with Python and Bash scripting
Familiarity with Blade Center and Blade Server hardware configurations
Familiarity with Network Attached Storage devices (e

g:
NetApp filer, Dell Unity)

Familiarity with configuring networking in RHEL 6, 7, and 8
Familiarity with networking concepts such as DHCP, static IPs, and routing
Familiarity with Artifactory, Gradle and SonarQube
Experience with SELinux and its configurations for various components within a system, e.g., SELinux rules for Apache
