    The Global Talent Acquisition Coordinator will report to the Global Talent Acquisition Operations Lead as a key member of the Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence & Innovation (TA COEI). This individual will play a vital role in the recruitment process by collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to support Takeda's efforts to find and attract top talent. This includes process adherence and optimization as well as effective decision making. The TA Coordinator will partner with Talent Acquisition teams to create job requisitions, schedule interviews, monitor, and adjudicate background check results as well as assist in offer development activities. The role requires solid people skills, strong organizational skills, and efficiency to work in a fast-paced environment.How you will contribute:

  • Create job requisitions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and assign to appropriate recruiters
  • Facilitate interview scheduling including scheduling telephone interviews, in-person and/or virtual interviews, seminars, and debrief meetings
  • Provide support to candidates who require travel arrangements in partnership with the company's travel agency
  • Greet and escort candidates during onsite, office-based interviews including managing logistical aspects such as conference room reservation and catering
  • Observe, identify, recommend, and help drive opportunities for improvement in all aspects of the recruiting life cycle
  • Create candidate offer letters/employment contracts
  • Initiate and manage the pre-employment background check process for candidates
  • Send pre-onboarding communications to candidates and hiring managers
  • Promote an excellent candidate experience throughout the interview process
  • Maintain a keen sense of urgency, enthusiasm, and positivity throughout all scheduling interactions
  • Support the execution and compliance of Talent Acquisition processes.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 1+ year of relevant work experience within scheduling and coordination of calendars, Talent Acquisition coordination experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with travel coordination and calendar management
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
  • Microsoft Office suite skills (Outlook, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Experience coordinating complex scheduling for interviews and meetings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail; ability to multitask and handle a large volume of tasks
  • Experience handling a variety of administrative tasks preferably of a critical or confidential nature
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize own work
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport & professional relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
