    Job Overview

    Floyd Valley Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapies Manager to lead our Therapy department, which includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, providing services, and creating strategic goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the Therapy department, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
    • Provide services to patients as needed, including evaluations and treatment plans.
    • Develop and implement sound financial strategies to ensure the department's fiscal health.
    • Analyze monthly financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Lead a team of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and support staff in a collaborative environment.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program.
    • Current Physical Therapist license.
    • BLS certification within 6 months of employment and current certification maintained throughout employment.
    • Iowa Mandatory Reporter training within 6 months of employment.
    • 5 years experience as a physical therapist.
    • Prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
    • Prior experience and/or willingness to share coverage at local athletic events preferred.
