- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, catheter insertion, and IV therapy
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and selfcare techniques
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse preferred
- Previous experience working on Med Surg unit.
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (eClinicalWorks)
