    Job Description:
    As a Personal Injury Paralegal at The Ledger Law Firm, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys in all stages of personal injury cases. You will be responsible for conducting research, preparing legal documents, and providing support to ensure the successful resolution of our clients' claims.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, calendaring deadlines, and tracking case progress.
    • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedent.
    • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
    • Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather information and evidence.
    • Assist in the preparation of depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
    • Coordinate with experts, investigators, and other professionals as needed.
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the efficient operation of the firm.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred.
    • Previous experience as a paralegal in personal injury law is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation related to personal injury cases.
    • Strong research and writing skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
