- Detailed estimate and probability modeling

- Lead overall transmission line design for all capital projects
- Review/Design transmission line plan and profile drawings using PLSCAD to ensure compliance with Client TM standards and NESC/other standards
- Drive the project plan for transmission line routing and strategy, specifically:
- Decide whether to rebuild existing lines or obtain additional right of way based on area congestion and local politics/permitting issues
- Determine required structure designs based on design constraints
- Determine routing in and around into congested stations to optimize design/reliability and minimize the number of crossings
- 5-10 years of transmission engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology
- PE preferred

Lead Engineer - Augusta, United States - LaBella Associates
Description
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for consideration to fill an open Lead Engineer - Transmission Lines position in our Client's office in Augusta, ME. This position will have a hybrid schedule.The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
The Lead Engineer will support capital projects associated with Transmission Lines.
A successful candidate will be self- motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their knowledge through classes in the electrical industry. The candidate will be trustworthy and punctual have a positive attitude, flexibility, and possess leadership skills.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
