Location: McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey (JB MDL)

Project Scope of Work:

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) recognizes the need for mechanical and electrical facility modifications to accommodate the infrastructure requirements of new Atlas Copco Clean Dry Air (CDA) system and Velico Frontline ODP system equipment. The mechanical and electrical items at the Armed Services Whole Blood Processing Lab East (Building 1705) that require repair include: 1) Infrastructure needed to support new equipment, to include installation of new equipment, and 2) Electrical service equipment. The repair/renewal shall meet all current codes, regulations, and standards.

Annual Salary: $110, ,000 DOE

$110,000 - $130,000 DOE

• Submittal coordination and review
• Update submittal register, inspections of materials, and workmanship
• Supervise special inspections, verify qualifications, maintain rework/deficiency logs
• Three phases of inspection
• Hold preparatory and safety meetings with team
• AHA development and review
• Review safety submittals for compliance,
• Review/develop preconstruction general safety submittals, verify qualifications, and maintain safety deficiency logs

• OSHA 30hr
• USACE CQM-C Certification
• EM hr
• Experience with Procore
• Proficient with USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) RMS system input and management
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
• Experience managing Government Projects
• Minimum 5 years of experience on similar projects

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions:

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
