- Patient scheduling, answering phones, checking in patients and checking out patients, collecting co-pays, etc.
- Department upkeep including preparation of treatment areas and submission of work orders
- Equipment maintenance and assembly/disassembly
- Track inventory and stock supplies
- Videotaping therapy sessions
- Direct/indirect patient care under therapist supervision (casting, transfers, toileting, dressing, bathing, positioning, gait training, assistance with groups)
- Coordination of care between disciplines, providers and family
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.
- Other duties as required.
- Experience in a rehab setting working with children with who are medically fragile or have disabilities is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills required
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Years of relevant experience: minimum of 3 years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
- BLS certification required within first 90 days of employment.
