    Description

    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems and components for various applications.
    Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models, drawings, and prototypes of mechanical designs.
    Conduct feasibility studies, analyses, and simulations to evaluate design concepts, identify potential issues, and optimize performance.
    Perform calculations, simulations, and testing to validate design requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.
    Develop and maintain design documentation, including specifications, drawings, bills of materials, and technical reports.
    Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to procure materials, components, and equipment for prototype development and production.
    Support the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of mechanical systems and components, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting as needed.
    Participate in design reviews, meetings, and presentations to communicate project status, technical recommendations, and design solutions to stakeholders.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.8+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a consulting engineering or manufacturing environment.

    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools commonly used in the industry.
    Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
    Experience with engineering analysis and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) is a plus.
    Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.$120,000 - $145,000 a year
