    My Client is an international start-up looking to grow their Business Development team in the UK, specifically in Scotland.

    Their goal is to provide early diagnosis for post-viral syndromes and indications associated with chronic inflammation and T-cell exhaustion to enable early treatment interventions.


    They are looking for a Business Development professional to spearhead sales responsibilities in the North American, European & UK Regions.

    This candidate would report directly to the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer. Whilst also working towards becoming an effective SME for account management responsibilities.

    Responsibilities
    To drive the growth objectives in our key segments including IVD T-Cell diagnostics initially through our Research-Use-Only platform
    Refine IVD's 'Go to Market' strategy with Operations Team and help set IVD Industry Segmentation and priorities.
    Build from the bottom up a Commercial Team in support of the Global Sales effort.
    Promote sales actions to keep and win new business, finding opportunities to cross-sell capabilities.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Physics or Engineering degree (Biomedical, Chemical, mechanical, industrial). Other degrees (Business or Innovation).
    Ideally this candidate would be located in the Glasgow or Edinburgh area of Scotland.
    More than 10 years of experience in the In Vitro Diagnostic field, T-Cell diagnostics preferred.
    10 or more years in international business roles.
