POSITION TITLE:
Certified Physician Assistant Advance Practice RN (APRN)

DEPARTMENT:
Primary Care (including Pediatrics), Urgent Care, OB/GYN

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Riverway Clinic is seeking a highly experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the primary care team at HealthPartners Riverway Clinic in Anoka. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build a primary care patient panel.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Physician Assistant or APRN/Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the Clinician team to oversee the comprehensive medical care of patients, covering preventive care and various acute and chronic conditions, including end-of-life care when necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Master's degree required
- Current Minnesota PA/APRN license and certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar applications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Current CPR certification and active professional association membership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
No specific lifting requirements, but must have good vision, hearing, and motor skills. Proficiency in English required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess individuals' health status
Conduct comprehensive health histories
Perform accurate physical examinations
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests
Develop care plans collaboratively
Prescribe appropriate modalities
Manage care following guidelines
Provide counseling and support
Coordinate care with other health professionals
Educate and mentor staff
Maintain professional competency
Participate in peer review and evaluations
Document care accurately
Contribute to improving care standards
Participate in committees and continuing education
