- Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the business unit's performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Analyze product, customer, and market segment profitability to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin improvement.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and decision support to business unit leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Present to, and partner with, senior leadership within the business unit.
- Partner with the Business Intelligence function to bring together large financial and operational data sets for analysis purposes.
- Partner with Sales Support function to understand current market conditions to help predict impact on new and existing work
- Monitor and track actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and working with business partners to understand root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost control initiatives, efficiency improvements, and process enhancements to drive profitability and operational excellence.
- Support the development of business cases and ROI analysis for capital expenditures, new product launches, and other strategic investments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with procurement function.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in a business unit support or senior FP&A role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Netsuite, Microsoft BI).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial metrics, and performance measurement concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
