Field Technician

HIGHLIGHTS
Location: Pottstown, PA
Position Type: Contract / Contract to hire
Hourly / Salary: $21 - $23/hour (Based on experience)
Residency Status: US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY
ONSITE ONLY

Job Description:

This Installation Technician position maintains the scales, impact attenuators, and tolling equipment on the PA Turnpike.

Required Skills:

• Valid PA driver's license (clean driving record required)
• Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
• Ability to diagnose system problems using a volt meter, ability to lift/carry 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces both under ground and above via bucket truck up to 50 feet.
• Ability to follow mandated safety procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Self-motivated with a minimum amount of supervision
• Fundamental electrical/mechanical knowledge

Special Qualifications:

Any applicable knowledge of Toll Systems

Desired Skills:

Basic electrical, electronics, mechanical, and construction experience

Education:

Required – High School Diploma or GED
