This position is on site at our Cullowhee (or Biltmore) campus.
Conduct try-out sessions each April.
Stay up-to-date with all college cheerleading rules and be AACCA certified.
Plan, attend, and lead all practice sessions.
Attend and oversee all games (football (home and away), men's and women's basketball).
Participate in fundraising events (camps, youth clinics, etc.).
Participate in community service projects/opportunities.
Help enforce all WCU student-athlete policies (training room, AEP, meetings, etc.).
Attend Catamount Club events when necessary.
Attend game operations meetings and other meetings mandated by athletics.
Collaborate with other "spirit" groups throughout the year (band and dance)
Provide other support where needed (i.e. Chancellor Installation events, recruiting tours, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution. AACCA certification is required.
