    **Responsibilities**

    Participates as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, determining the nutrition and dietary goals of participants' care plans and monitoring progress toward those goals

    Completes accurate, timely assessments of participants' nutritional status

    Monitors monthly weight, taking into account factors such as medical diagnosis and drug-nutrient interactions

    Develops nutrition-related treatment plans in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team

    Provides nutrition counseling to participants

    **Requirements**

    Bachelor's Degree with major studies in food and nutrition or dietetics with ADA registration and PA licensure (LDN)

    Two to five years of practical training and experience in general kitchen management, quantity food preparation, and the basic principles of nutrition

    At least one year of experience working with older adults

    Working knowledge of all federal, state and local laws governing the dietary department and sanitation of adult day care centers
