Job summary
We seek a project engineer to join our Electrical Section in Kansas City. This role provides exciting opportunities to design electrical systems for clients on highway, municipal, bridge, transit, and airport projects.This opportunity entails being responsible for producing and modifying design calculations,
technical reports engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects.
The position consults with the project manager to perform research development
calculations design delivery Applies engineering techniques procedures and design criteria
for projects ranging in size complexity Leverages technical knowledge experience address
design-related issues concerns working closely with the project manager through creative problem-solving interactions clients completing tasks meet project schedule Develops conceptual detailed designs calculations support project completion using current drawing technical tools programs software May mentor train review work junior engineer staff provide constructive feedback As member team contribute successful delivery diverse range of projects HNTB's clients
