    CDL A Driver - Light Touch - $24 - $29 Per Hour  

    TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Lynchburg, VA. 

    Direct Hire

    CDL-A Details 
    • Schedule: Mon-Fri / 7:00am Start / Home Daily
    • Pay: $24/hr-$29/hr depending on experience 
    • Route Type: Local 
    • Freight / Load Type: Roofing Shingles & Supplies
    • Equipment: CDL-A / Flatbed / Automatic
    • Handling: Strapping / Moffett 
    CDL-A Minimum Requirements:
    • License: CDL A 
    • Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
    • Endorsements: N/A
    • Equipment Experience: Flatbed / Moffett experience is a plus
    • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
    • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
    CDL-A Responsibilities:
    • Safely operate CDL-A & CDL-B flatbed on Local routes
    • Transport Roofing Materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
    • Perform required handling tasks including unloading with Moffett 
    • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
    • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
    • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
    • Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc.
