- Define and design/enhance security architecture and security systems.
- Collaborate with Application, Data & Infrastructure teams to architect, design and implement security solutions.
- Define and document security standards and direct implementation of standards and guidelines.
- Perform security audits and security reviews in compliance with Federal Government regulations and implement remediation.
- Create and manage the Security Risk plan.
- Bachelor's in Science degree and 14 years of relevant security experience; 12 years with Masters; 9 years with PhD
- Possess or be able to obtain before start date at least ONE of the following certifications: • IAT Level II
- IAT Level III
- Active Secret security clearance required to start with the ability to obtain/maintain a final Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities Peraton's DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate
This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats
Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Security Architect to become part of Peraton's Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes
