Description

One of our largest commercial clients is looking for a DevOps Systems Engineer to join their team onsite in McLean VA.

This person will be joining a team that is responsible for the company wide IT infrastructure and must be team-oriented, flexible, accountable, and work in a fast-paced collaborative work environment.

They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps infrastructure and development processes.

They will need to have expertise in Azure, Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines, along with problem-solving skills, will play a crucial role in optimizing our systems and driving continuous improvement.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like PowerShell and Terraform
Experience with configuration management tools (e. g., Ansible, DSC) and infrastructureascode frameworks (e. g., Terraform, Bicep)
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e. g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration and networking
Working knowledge of Azure networking
Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC2, HITRUST, and PCI
