    Salary:
    $17-$21 per hour (negotiable based on experience)


    Schedule:
    Sunday-Thursday or Saturday-Wednesday, 8-hour shift between 11:00am-9:30pm

    Job Summary:

    Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to respond to customer inquiries regarding pharmacy retail and mail-order prescriptions.

    This role plays a vital part in maintaining positive customer relations and ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of customer requests.


    Job Responsibilities:


    Develop and maintain positive customer relations, coordinating with internal functions to handle and resolve customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner.

    Interact with internal and external customers, providing claims, customer service, and membership support to subscribers, providers, group or benefit administrators, physician offices, third-party representatives, and other Blue Cross Plans.

    Conduct necessary research to provide proactive and thorough solutions to customer inquiries.
    Demonstrate ownership of service requests, ensuring high-quality resolution and follow-through.

    Support and guide customers in making informed decisions, helping them become knowledgeable and confident in using available technology, tools, and resources.


    Qualifications:
    High School diploma.
    Minimum of 18 months of experience in customer service and/or the health insurance industry.
    Any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.


    Preferred:
    Specialty pharmacy experience.
