    DH Pace Company, Inc. located in Olathe, Kansas aspires to hire a BI Analyst to ensure all assigned projects have proper requirements and data documentation to support development. Will act as a liaison amongst the company's stakeholders to translate business requirements into data mapping and documentation needed to ensure successful project completion. Will develop solutions meeting or exceeding project goals.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; communicating to stakeholders; and ensuring efficient and on-time project delivery.
    • Work with stakeholders to identify and validate requirements for business cases.
    • Deliver reporting and business intelligence solutions that provide insight into business performance and growth opportunities. Including identification of data sources, data analysis, report layout, and auditing.
    • Prepare statistical and narrative reports and participate in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate.
    • Interpret performance trends, identify root causes behind the trends, and contribute to the development of performance improvement efforts.
    • Facilitate and provide analytical assistance with other departments and managers as necessary.
    • Ensure all changes to reporting, processes, and procedures are reflected, and appropriately documented in project management tracking software. Ensure correct first time and quality review processes are utilized and that changes are consistent with data integrity control processes.
    • Develop work plans to meet deadlines, accurately estimate completion dates, and communicate status.
    • Position requires an active level of participation no matter the level of project assignment given whether it be supportive or lead.
    • Acquire and maintain a strong working knowledge of the major software platforms that are utilized by the company and possess a solid understanding of how the platforms integrate amongst one another.
    • Provide assistance to end users of DH Pace's systems as requested by BA's and/or management.
    • Acquire and stay current with the company structure including reporting relationships, chain of command, and the products/services offered in order to effectively complete assigned projects.
    • Ability to work additional hours as required.
    • Other duties as assigned or requested.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required and (3-5) years of experience in modeling, business systems, databases, ETL processes or other directly related experience
    • Advanced analysis, research and report writing skills. Preferred knowledge of trending and forecasting.
    • Advanced knowledge of databases and fluency in SQL, preferred knowledge of scripting languages like Oracle, Power Shell, VBA, or Python.
    • Advanced knowledge of business intelligence software including one or more of the following:
      Power BI, SSRS, and MS office applications.
    • Analytical and detailed-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Good written communication skills.
