What would I be doing?
Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance in our bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend shift huddle and set priorities with on-shift Team Leader
- Repair powder handling production equipment
- Communicate sitewide maintenance updates
- Perform preventative maintenance activities and document them through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Prepare and order parts lists for small repair
- Attend seminar trainings (up to one week duration) as needed to fill skills gaps
Education, Skill and Experience
- High school diploma or GED with some experience in a manufacturing plant maintenance environment or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated by skills test
- Proficient in mathematical skills demonstrated by test on basic arithmetic
- Ability to repair and maintain rotating equipment including pumps, mills, motor and fans
- Experience within the food or pharmaceutical industry a plus
- Experience managing contractors is a plus
- Knowledge of steam and condensate systems a plus
- Knowledge of HVAC and chiller systems a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. (23 kg)
- Must be able to be a licensed fork truck operator
