    Job DescriptionPosition Description:
    The SharePoint Developer specializes in creating and managing SharePoint solutions that support the department's collaborative, document management, and information-sharing needs. This role involves designing, developing, and customizing SharePoint applications and sites according to DoD requirements. The developer is responsible for implementing workflows, integrating SharePoint with other systems, and ensuring the platform's functionality aligns with the unique operational and security requirements of the DoD. They manage site layouts, content types, and user permissions while also ensuring the platform adheres to DoD cybersecurity standards and policies. The SharePoint Developer troubleshoots and resolves issues, provides user training and support, and continuously updates the SharePoint environment to improve efficiency and usability. Collaboration with other IT professionals and stakeholders is crucial to understanding needs and delivering effective SharePoint solutions. Strong coding skills, a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, and the ability to adapt to changing technology and security landscapes are essential for this role.

    Requires Security Clearance: Personnel must possess a final DoD-granted SECRET security clearance

    Education: High School diploma/GED

    Experience:
    • Relevant Experience of ten (10) years.
    • Minimum of three years of directly related experience in the design and development of SharePoint sites and pages.
      1. This experience must have been performed within the last three years.
      2. Preference given for experience with implementing SharePoint in the Navy's Flank Speed M365 environment.
    • Experienced with the development and maintenance of PowerApps in a DoD/Navy M365 environment
