    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

    Job Details:


    • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision

    • Must have Medical-Surgical (MS) and Step Down (SD) experience

    • Travel experience and Level 1 trauma experience preferred

    • Charge nurse experience preferred

    • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

    • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients

    • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments

    • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

    • Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary

    • Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products

    • Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions

    • Make referrals to appropriate personnel for patient care needs

    • Delegate tasks to support staff

    • Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact license (eNLC), Current BLS from American Heart Association

    • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

    • Must be able to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients

    • Basic computer skills required
