- Creating sales strategies and utilizing metrics for assessing the sales team's performance.
- Motivating the SGJ team to reach annual sales targets and ensuring accountability.
- Suggesting enhancements in processes, procedures, reporting, and technology.
- Supervising SGJ Sales Assistants to guarantee timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to team members to meet A&K Sales and Service standards.
- Continual performance evaluation against monthly sales and yearly Objective goals.
- Participating in new employee training with SGJ Specialists, maintaining training materials and schedules, and promoting ongoing training and best practices.
- Coordinating with the Documentation team for a smooth transition and coherence in sales and documentation.
- Resolving escalated issues within the team.
- Offering advice on financial bookings when necessary.
- Supervising call queues to ensure proper phone coverage.
- Scheduling Familiarization trips (fams) for enhanced destination/product knowledge.
- Monitoring business cycles to maintain phone coverage during fams, peak sales seasons, etc.
- Collaborating with DMCs, Third-Party Suppliers, and internal departments to streamline booking processes, finalize sales, and address quality concerns.
- Handling administrative tasks such as weekly reports, scheduling, and payroll.
- Effective team management and building skills.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of performing under pressure in a high-stress environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Good judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Travel Studio is preferred.
- Knowledge of global geography.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and quick adaptability to new technologies.
- Proficiency in English language skills (reading, writing, speaking).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of experience in sales/customer service management is preferred.
- Prior experience in the travel industry and call center management is advantageous.
- Possibility of working evening and weekend hours.
- Must be willing to travel internationally and possess a valid passport.
