    Manufacturing Engineer
    Southbridge, MA

    Responsibilities

    Provides technical support in areas of manufacturing.
    Responsible for continuous improvement, process development, process parameters/control/optimization, and equipment/technology support.
    Identifies and analyzes manufacturing problems related to production processes.
    Prepares process specifications, route sheets, material specifications, technical drawings and design sheets.
    Develops and implements new processes, equipment and controls.
    Designs and executes engineering tests. Issues final technical reports with conclusions.
    Initiates and implements engineering changes and document revisions.
    Prepares project authorizations with schedules required to fund engineering projects.
    Employs, as appropriate, design of experiments and defect analysis in tests.
    Manages R/D projects with timelines; prepares presentations.
    Prepares CER's for capital equipment.
    Responsible for yield improvement and cost reduction projects.
    Provides manufacturing decision-making information.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    B.S. Degree in a technical discipline.
    Minimum three (3) years related manufacturing experience.
    Six Sigma experience preferred.
    Strong analytical ability and a disciplined problem-solving approach.
    Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software.
    Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

    Able and willing to work with others on a team.
    Ability to support department and corporate policies and goals.
    Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.
