    The Paralegal will work closely with a Dallas Associate to support the firm's clients in a manner

    that is consistent with our core values and vision. The right candidate must have 5+ years of

    Texas Family Law experience along with attention to detail, strong organizational and drafting

    skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. The paralegal position

    resides in the Dallas office, with the option for a hybrid schedule, depending on level of

    experience and the supervising attorney's preference.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    · Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and court orders for review,

    · approval, and use by attorney.

    · Correspond with clients and prepare spreadsheets and documents for Inventory and

    · Appraisement and Proposed Support Decision.

    · File pleadings with court clerks.

    · Coordinate delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action.

    · Conduct intake calls with potential new clients and prepare attorneys for initial

    · consultation.

    · Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and

    · conferences.

    · Assist attorneys in analyzing and resolving recurring problems that arise in family law

    · cases.

    · Draft discovery requests, calendar relevant due dates, and prepare correspondence to

    · opposing counsels and/or opposing parties.

    · Assist clients to comply with discovery requests and compile requested documents.
