    **Customer Service Specialist Role**

    Oversee the training and implementation of Customer Service functions for selected Top Customers within the region. Responsible for the Customer Service functions for all assigned lines.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    * Collaborate with the Customer Service Supervisor to maintain work schedules, timesheets, and payroll recaps for select Customer Service Coordinators.

    * Assist in hiring new Customer Service Coordinators and provide guidance on administrative policies and procedures.

    * Train and mentor Customer Service Coordinators to ensure proficiency in all Customer Service functions for assigned lines.

    * Assume additional responsibilities as needed and provide coverage in the absence of the Customer Service Supervisor.

    * Resolve issues with knowledge, experience, and research, communicating with internal and external groups as necessary.

    * Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate parties, including the Customer Service Supervisor, Business Managers, and Customer Managers.

    * Investigate rules engine failures and determine the appropriate course of action.

    * Maintain accurate information on prices and notify the Sales Data Coordinator in a timely manner.

    * Ensure client/customer criteria is up-to-date on order instructions and file scanned documents according to Acosta policy.

    **Qualifications:**

    * High School Diploma/GED required.

    * Four years of customer service experience required, preferably in food brokerage or sales administration.

    * Relationship management experience preferred.

    * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills, with excellent communication abilities.

    * Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and document management software.

    * Type a minimum of 60 wpm.
