We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our private practice. As a therapist, you will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals of all ages in an outpatient setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health disorders and promote overall emotional well-being in your clients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients of all ages.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues.
Collaborate with clients to set treatment goals and monitor progress throughout therapy.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive treatment.
Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy.
Participate in regular supervision and continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth operations and effective client scheduling.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
Experience in providing outpatient mental health services to individuals of all ages.
Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficient in maintaining accurate and confidential client records.
