    Hardware Engineering Manager - Holland, Michigan


    DISHER is currently partnering with a leading global supplier of mechanical and electromechanical systems for the automotive, transportation, and appliance industries.

    They are seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to join their team in Holland. In this role, you will provide technical and strategic leadership to the Electronics Engineering function in the organization. This role will provide mentorship and direction to other managers within the organization.

    What you will get to do:
    Provide electrical engineering and project management expertise to support engineering teams; ensuring that stated safety, quality, reliability, schedule, and budget objectives are met
    Lead the analog and digital circuit design through analysis and simulation, EMC design including the support for PCB layout, EMC test plan development, troubleshooting EMC anomalies, product specification negotiation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, overseeing the testing of prototypes, and following the development through to production
    Plan for, prepare, and manage engineering departmental expenses, development projects, and capital expenses
    Hire, develop, mentor, and manage staff; set department and individual goals; manage staff career development and training; conduct performance evaluations
    Lead and mentor engineers who are responsible for project activities


    What will make you successful:
    Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
    Master's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
    10+ years of engineering experience including electronic hardware design and product development
    3+ years of experience in an engineering management role
    Experience in the automotive electronics field preferred
    Embedded Hardware Design experience for automotive applications preferred
    Experience leading and coordinating a global development team is preferred
    Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interface with both internal and external customers regularly
    Ability to build trust and operate with a high level of integrity
    Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.

    $140,000 - $170,000 a year
